Originally from Winnipeg, Manitoba - currently residing in DeWinton, Alberta for the last 22 years. The Frasers started their dog obsession well over thirty years ago. Well known for their very successful West Highland White Terriers, it is not just Westies that they have had a hand in, but they are true Terrier fanciers. Top Dog Status is not an uncommon occurrence for the Frasers: not many years have gone by that they have not had success within the Terrier group and All Breed dog status.

West Highland White Terriers are the Frasers original breed which they still breed and exhibit today. The Westies that they have had in the Top Dog rankings are numerous. From the beginning, Tom has shown dogs to most of their accolades. He is a well-know breeder/owner/handler to this day.

The Frasers have had a very successful breeding program and have imported some very influential dogs for North America. Tom handled their English import Eng/Can/Am Ch. Whitebriar Jeronimo to Top Terrier Status in 1982. This dog was a very prominent sire in North America proving not only to be a great show dog but made his mark as a producer as well. The list of top Westies is endless. There are not many years that the Brynmill Westies have not held rank here in Canada. Another influential dog that Tom and June exhibited was Can/Am Ch. Haweswalton Man About Town. Only two years after Tom’s success with Jeronimo once again saw him holding top Terrier status in 1984 with Timmy, owner/handled as usual. In the recent past, more Brynmill Westies hit their mark, Sailor, Can/Am Ch. Brynmill Big Benn, winner of the largest Westie National in Canada. Can/Am Ch. Brynmill Billy the Kid would claim top Westie status in 2004, a multiple specialty winner both in Canada and the US. Currently the Frasers have joined forces with Westie handler, David Gignac, who is legendary in his conditioning and presentation of the breed. David had shown Ch. Brynmill Blazing Beam in 2007 to number one female Westie and is now showing Cad/Am Ch. Gailaurie’s Zoom ZoomZoom, currently ranked #1 in both breed and group and #8 All Breed Ranking.

But it is not just Westies that the Frasers have a love for - being true Terrier people, they appreciate and support the whole group. In the 1990’s the Frasers put their efforts behind several Top Terriers. Tom and June fell in love with the Sealyham breed and brought “Merci” out west in 2006 handled exclusively by Shannon Sheer. Merci was the winning Terrier groups 98% of the time and going Best in Show 50% of the time.
